Most parents are struggling daily with getting their children to bed at night; it’s a constant struggle, especially now with electronic devices a part of everyday life. Those parents that have children with disabilities or challenges, it’s a double struggle.
It is important for you to have a strict routine with your child to make sure that he/she is going to bed every night at the same time. A bath before bed or some soft music may relax your child and help them get to sleep.
If your child is not getting enough sleep he/she will be grumpy and not perform well at school and may have meltdowns.
